This Easter weekend we spent some time in Fence Lake, New Mexico where my father lives. He has always been such an inspiration to me since I was a little girl. He showed me an appreciation for nature and the wide open road that I will always carry with me. Since I can remember, he would gather all of us up last minute and we would road trip to Cali, Florida, Canada or Southern Mexico. Those trips shaped my childhood and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
I strive to be like him and capture his sponteneity and confidence in my own life. Spending the weekend with him at his home reminded us all that work and money is important, but above that is the importance of living a spiritual life, taking time to enjoy nature and spending time with family and loved ones.
Love you Dad
