The book of Leviticus is often greatly misunderstood. When I was a child, I used to think it was a boring book, sadly. But now that I've studied Torah for many years, I have grown to finally understand the beauty in this book.

Sacrifice is an important concept all throughout Leviticus. One way to understand this book is to focus on the sacrificial attitude we are to have as we approach God on a daily basis. The apostles encouraged us to die to self daily and Yeshua said that

"No one has greater love than this: that he lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)

As we approach Passover this month, Leviticus reminds us that the wages of sin is death and Messiah as the Lamb of God paid the greatest price for us. There is no greater love than this!

What's New this Month?

  • Clean & Unclean animal sorting

  • Counting the 10 lepers

Do you have a suggestion to add? I'd love to hear about it in the comments.
