God is consecrating something,
He is sanctifying something,
He is dedicating something so that
He can dwell among it as His Holy temple.
The spirit of God is currently dwelling in the body of believers, but God's glory is not yet able to permeate our world because of sin, hence the need for sanctification. He is sanctifying a bride, a people from every tribe, nation and tongue so that at the time of restoration, when all sin and evil has been removed, He can rededicate all creation as His Holy Temple. The New Heaven and the New Earth will be His holy dwelling with restored humankind.
So I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar. I will also sanctify Aaron and his sons to minister to Me as kohanim.-Exo 29:44
